Yankees fan here, I had nearly convinced my self that Astros would sweep. Last nights game gave me hope. Tanaka was brilliant, Torres was unreal, and LeMahieu did what he always does. And that cannon attached to Judges arm... just wow. Have to thank Tampa too for stretching their series to 5 games and showing that Verlander could be rattled.

Ex-Long Islander and disappointed Mets fan here, anybody in the tri-state area has a right to be a Yank fan:lol3

I wasn't surprised by the Yanks power, I knew they could take on Greinke, but was blown away by Tanaka's performance and expected a few more runs from the Astros. Even when they messed up a double play ball and missed a foul ball, their relief covered for them.

I'm ready for Verlander to be tested today, if he loses he can always go home and cry to his wife, Kate Upton.

Stick a fork in the Cardinals. They're done for the year. Pretty much going to take a miracle to come back after tonight. :cry

I woke up right at the start of the 4th inning (night worker) and got to see all that action.
Did Ozuna need to slide to catch that ball in left? I didn't think so. He dropped it and the rally began.

From a few games ago, Soto looks like an absolute moron doing this crap in the box.

I loved that at bat, Soto has been crushing the Cardinals and baseball at a certain level is all confidence. He looked like a bull about to charge to shake Mikolas. It didn't work as he grounded out, but the look Mikolas gave back Soto as he walked towards the dugout was priceless.

Thought about a standing room only ticket to Nat's game tonight, $143.00. At that price, I'll wait for a WS SRO. know somebody that went last night. Ticket after 1st inning dropped to $50.00.

@Scotty P is correct. One must have faith. I have faith the Nat's are WS bound. Be okay with me if they wrap it up tonight. Supposed to rain all day tomorrow in DC. Git'r done.

The Cardinals are the only team in NLCS history to not have a rbi in the first 3 game
Not what us Cards fans are accustom to

Only about a week ago, the Cards were the first team in Major League history to score 10 runs in the first inning of a post season game.

    ....and now this. :waysad
