1/2 our group in the pines.

We met up with Kurt on the trail.

The backup started building at the base of "The Hill".

Ric scouted The Hill" and hiked down to give us the bad news.

Kurt topping "The Hill". I was so pre-occupied with the carnage on "The Hill" I forgot to take pics at the base.

for all ya'll that said ya had yer butt kicked by "the hill" on the MRR, sat., A/B route.
(officially and appropriatly it is known as "Buzzards Roost" canyon that ya'll went on to the "the hill" which put you on BR mesa.)
how about a re-do, on sat or sunday 14 or 15......
meet @ punkin center bar. about 10, that way the trailer queens have a place to park their rigs and frosty libations await you @ the end.
the rest of us 5RH society members can come over 4 peaks,
gas @ butcher hook or, up 87 to 188, gas @ jakes corner.
ride to the antlers and brag about your conquest & return same way.
comin back out of the canyon other way can prove it's own challenges, or go back chamberlain trail...........
    what say ye .......:super .........advise......redeye

Good eye, Dan gave it to Ryan Dickson, who has since rebuilt the motor, rode several dualsports and a trip to Baja. Recycling of the best kind.

That's pretty amazing... It was already pretty tired when Dan got it back in '01, seemed mechanically solid though. Assuming you talk to Ryan, tell him to let me know if he ever decides to get rid of it. Would be cool to see how long we can keep it in service.

    Hey Redeye,
Just got back from a week in BAJA and I hate to say it but I need a break for a couple of weeks. (I've logged over 15k miles in the last 3 months and my back is talking to me.) And I have visitors for a couple more weeks after that.
There's a few of us up for a redo but not until mid Dec. Don't know if the weather will still permit by then? Call me when you get a chance to discuss.
