Stop the press...... Dargo entry fee will be $20.00 Not $25 as per the flyer.
Pre-paid entries will be refunded a fiver on request at the site. You can spend it on the Dimmies...........

See you at Talbotville for one of the best rallies ever.

Not long to go now till the rally, and will be the first without Frame a life member of the Monarchs who was tragically taken in a car accident earlier this week. :(

No doubt Frame will be there in spirit with his Monarch mates. :photog

Will miss your honesty and chats Frame. :(

Definately going to be a lucky long shot if I make it - too many projects - trying to finish the house to sell !
Next year will be more likely - especially if we buy down around Bairnsdale, which is where we want move to for the climate !
Have a great one and I'll wait for plenty of photos
    Cheers

    Hi all,
Also posted this on the OCR thread, as I would like to help this person who kindly offered to help others and has come off worse for it.

There was is an owner of a DR650 that didn't make it to Mt Dare on his bike and kindly offered others the use of parts from his DR, which was on a trailer out the back of the Mt Dare pub.

Somebody took his handlebars for an Africa Twin that high sided out the front of the pub and somebody else took the front brake lines which the owner consented to from hospital.

Now that the bike has been returned he has found that it is also missing the master cylinder. Both people who borrowed the parts advised that they did not take it, which means that sadly somebody may have helped themselves.

Owner was intending on attending the Monarchs Dargo High Plains Rally, but can't find a replacement master cylinder from the wreckers and looks to have to fork out $215 for a new replacement. Money which he was planning to purchase a tyre with. Now not likely to be able to attend event.

Does anybody that attended the OCR know who took the master cylinder, as they may want to get in touch with the owner and replace it as otherwise it is known as theft. :(

    Thanks

Ok. After last years confusion, someone has to ask. Does anyone have an updated report on the Dargo High Plains Rd. ? The VicRoads site shows the road closed, but the information has not been updated for a few weeks.

I'd be VERY surprised if it's open all the way through to hotham! I might have more nfo tomorrow because we're thinking about taking the kids up that way to play in the snow, but I took this photo tuesday last week ( below the grant turn off)

Nb the road was definitely open up to the grant turnoff and we haven't had any big dumps since so talbotville should still be accesible from Dargo
