    Hi everyone,

I posted a little film I made about an R90S that's done the mileage to the moon - 240k miles - over in the rides section and the guys suggested I post it here too.

Let me know what you think :-)

Plaka you are very rude, the nice man takes you on holiday on the back of of his motorbike and then you go criticize his video.

I like anything 90s related and it’s a nice background story but it needs repainting. The paint detracted from everything for me and a big part of a 90s is the paint :(
With a serial starting 409 and a UK R plate it looks to be a ‘76 model year. Awesome mileage.

Thanks everyone for the kind words :-)

And what a bike that is. It's heartening to know that there are things out there that can be with people for so long.
And just imagining all the things it has seen on the way.

    Great story and video

Wondering how many parts have been replaced to achieve this kind of mileage ?

You can see that the gearbox is from '79 or later, and that the bike has been repainted.

Outstanding work, beautiful bike, and let's not forget the man who sits in the saddle.

The 'man in the saddle' has spent a fair bit of money on it over the years. He didn't tell me exactly how much, or what was done.
But the bike is a kind of 'rolling restoration' I'd say.

I would say a rolling restoration over 30 years is way harder to accomplish than a full restoration. Speaks of loyalty.

Thanks for the video, simple effective storytelling.
