He might be worth keeping if he can keep the raccoons out of the trash cans.

Sensationalized nonsense but hey , some limp wristed jackass is frightened so let's try to freak out everyone.

    :lol3

Those are beautiful lizards. Salvators are a bit more docile which is probably why they got so popular.

I got attacked myself in Apalachicola Forest two weeks ago. I crashed on a trail in the woods and apparently disturbed a nest. They came out in force and lit me up. I ran as fast as I could in my AGATT and started tearing off my gear piece by piece because they got inside my shirt, pants, helmet, etc. Then, I dove into a creek in my skivvies to finally got them to stop biting me. I ended up with about 25 bites mostly on my arms, chest and back. Then, after I walked back to my bike, the rest of the hive was still swarming all over my bike. So, I just waited another 30 minutes till I thought it was safe enough to pick up my bike and get the heck out of there. P.S. I read on-line that yellow jackets are supposed to be docile and not attack.

These guys are notorious for building their web across trails in the Sunshine State.

I learned really quick that being the first one in the trails in the AM wasn't a good thing and always let the "faster" guys pass me on one particular trail...:deal

In my opinion we have tamed this place a little too much. You used to have to be tough to live here. Now just about anybody can do it.
