The time invested was worthwhile - great photos and trip :clap

I was in Morocco a few years ago in March - April - surprised that that goes so well in early January

Don't give up, night photography is rather technical and you might need some tries until you get good results, it's worth it though.

    Thanks :-)

Thanks. Yes, January was definitely doable despite cold nights (and some days).

    Huffduff,

I just found this thread and could not stop until I had read the whole thing. Great writing and great
photos. If I were to print your favorite photo again....which is terrific, btw......I might tone down the building just a bit.

Since several people have referenced your other articles I am headed out to look those up.

    Thanks again.....

Outstanding photography and great report. What was the name of the village and or Riad in this shot? You said it was the best of your trip but did not give the name. I leave for Morocco next week and if I end up near it I would like to visit.
    Thanks

This place is called Kasbah Tizourgane (http://www.tizourgane-kasbah.com/). Tizourgane being the village. I can really recommend the place.
    Have fun in Morocco

    This one?
Thanks for your input, I see what you mean, it looks unnatural. And it was, sort of, a car's headlight illuminated the kasbah while taking the shot. A lucky coincidence, which I like, despite the unnatural light.
