Hey Nick. Each inner bag is 35 liters, and each exterior pocket adds 5 liters of capacity.
Thanks for chiming in - this is exactly right.
Hey Woody, unfortunately we will not be at Moto Expo AU this year. Hopefully next!
Well, that should keep my credit card bill a bit more manageable for a year then. See you in Melbourne then.
In the future we will be offering a cable lock designed specifically for the V2 BC.
Hey, @Sideoff or @Blake D any way to order some of the buckles in this post for my R10 Setup?
That’s what I thought. I even looked for one in the site. Thanks for letting us know.
At this time we are not selling the buckles separately from the V2 BC Pannier, but in the future we will likely offer a "buckle repair kit" that you could order.
MM will definitely be at the expo, I was emailing them this week.
Are you sure about that?
Hey Woody, apologies for the misinformation! We will indeed have two team members at Moto Expo AU.
Just got done with a near 6K miles... got a couple of days of pouring rain and everything stayed dry! Easy and quick to unpack the bikes. Stuff stayed very secure. We also used the locking straps, again great quality and easy to use.
I have the older style and on the wife's bike are the brand new (latest edition) of the duffel and side bags... GREAT STUFF!!
Noted your earlier post about sourcing G hooks. Mil Spec Monkey sells both the flat and wave version for $2.25/2.00 each in colors Coyote (tan) and Black.
That's where I got the G-Hooks I'm currently using. However, the edges are square and are starting to cut into my Kriega rack loops. I was hoping to get some hooks with a more rounded edge to prevent this. Maybe I'll check with Kriega and see if they offer hooks.
I actually found the style of hooks used on the new version of the B35, but I can only find them available as a wholesale item in wholesale MOQ's.
Can you file them down?
I'm sure it's possible...and I may end up doing that.
Agreed, simply chamfering (breaking) the sharp edge with a Swiss file will eliminate the issue. Unfortunately, it will mess up the anodizing. I wouldn't use a Dremel, very easy to bite into the part and remove too much metal.
G hooks aren't designed to bear a load, just keep straps snug.
Hey guys, just a heads up that we will be at Overland Expo East this weekend!
Make sure to come by our booth if you are around - we have apparel in every size for you to check out and try on.
Any pics of the Reckless 10 on a KTM 790?
