I'm looking to order a $100 tank bag from Germany to the US. There's only $3 difference in the delivered price. Should I give one vendor preference over the other for reliability and customer service if needed?

I have dealt with both. No difference. Just confirm they have the item in stock before ordering. Otherwise it can be a long wait.

FC-Moto uses DHL as their default, which takes forever, and like chrisvh said their website may show an item as instock / available but it really isn't available at all.

Does Motostorm out of Italy carry the item you're looking for? They've been incredibly fast with shipping for me - like 4-5 days from order to item in hand.

Unfortunately Motostorm doesn't but I'll keep them in mind for future purchases.

I don’t know. I just ordered some gloves about $60 cheaper than US prices even after shipping and I received them in 10 days. I am happy.

I've used FC-Moto once, with perfectly fine results.

Earlier this year I broke my Leatt Road brace in a crash. (Worked great, drove my head right into a rock wall, no loss of consciousness/broken neck/paralysis) Anyway, I wanted a new one but everyone including Leatt is out of stock. I stumbled upon Motardinn on google shopping and their prices seemed too low but they had the item in stock. It finally arrived and the motardinn product is definitely a knockoff. Stickers where the padding should be molded into the brace, wrinkly padding, excess glue dripping all over the item, terrible carbon fiber with zero shine. I asked for an RA# and a refund. I will update if they give me my money back or not. It smells like shitty CA glue as well.

Attached are some pics of the two items side by side. The real Leatt is the one with the glossy carbon wings.
