He should have accepted the 18 month ban and not run the risk..

Might see JL99 back in the paddock..

Being a factory rider for Cagiva/ Ducati in 500GP/MotoGP has always been a poisoned chalice. Even Ducati's 2 most successful riders, Stoner and Dovizioso have fallen out with them as they say Ducati doesn't listen to their input.
So it is time for some new thinking in Ducati Corse management, hence Luigi Dall'Igna needs to go.

Franco Morbidelli balanced risk and reward perfectly for a second MotoGP™ pole, with Quartararo 11th, Mir 12th and Rins 14th setting us up nicely for a #MatchPoint Sunday.

Yep looking forward to the race tonight. Morbidelli...a future champion perhaps, however, for now its Mirs to lose. Starting mid pack has its problems with the rush to gain places in the first few corners. Going to be a lot of nerves going around this afternoon. You know there is still a chance for a few to win the championship. If Mir goes down and Morbidelli goes off into the distance and Rins does his magical passing...could see an interesting end in Portimao. Quarterz....bzzt he's gone.... Must be the most exciting race of the year...

Congrats to Joan Mir & Suzuki. They had the best all round package and deserved the title.
While I won’t be buying a new Suzuki anytime soon, I hope they bring out a special addition GSXR 1000 (road legal) with the same looking exhaust as the race bike

Pretty sad year eh but least they're giving it a go I suppose... Kawasaki...BMW... Triumph...MV Augusta? Some more names would make it really enticing

Kawasaki had a half-hearted run a while ago, but sulked off with poor results, the lack of development showing up every week.
At least Suzuki licked their wounds clean and came back more determined, and now they have a result for all the hard work. Congratulations to Suzuki.:clap

I wish the Green team would wake up and smell the unleaded.:pope Kawasaki can and do make stonking road fourstroke motors. My mid-70's Z1 900's were proper nasty motors that completely overwhelmed the handling and tyres of the day with big gobs of torquey horsepower. Triumph are probably chuffed with Moto2 exclusively using their lovely triples anyway. BMW? :jack And MV? Probably hasn't got the budget to sustain development to make a campaign worth doing I'd say, too small a volume player.

I still reckon they should have to carry pillions armed with a short knife for stabbing as they pass. I'd pay to see that.:photog
