Not my bike but the exact same model. I bought mine with a twin G chair attached and with the able help of a blue heeler racked up almost 300k kms before I traded it for a cubic metre of rosewood and a bandsaw. (we're still driving that kitchen)
Dunno why, the tech is so old school, but I still love this bike. Guzzi 850GT.jpg

nah, I think it's the ipad over exposing whilst trying to cope with so much black in direct sunlight. Even the stelvio looks washed out in that picture

    Doncha read drunk guttzisti ?

He bought a white mk 4 lemon from ps ringwood , sourced an 18 inch front wheel and had Barry from Italian motorcycle engineering wave his magical spanners over it.

After that experience, buying a v11 lemans from A1 in ringwood was a faded shadow of youthful dreams, leaving him questioning his sexuality , dancing with the sons of pimps and drinking way too much port.

i always liked the look of the Guzzi Centauro, but have never seen one in person. Not sure how many came to Aus. I have read they had a weird riding position described as halfway between chopper/cruiser and a sport tourer??
    Any one ever own one?

you have no idea...... for a few minutes I thought it was mark- but his mk4 was red. So were the twins, although their friend had a lot in common with pink. I'm pretty sure it was scotch rather than port . So much of that night I'd like to remember :(

Yes I remember that heavy throttle. I put a twin cable Thomaselli throttle set up on mine (SS Ducati) and I played with the outlet tubes on the top of the carbies and opened up the 90 degree bend with a little heat to as for as I could before the cables got into the tanks etc above them. Made a huge difference getting rid of the two into one type throttle cables, never had a broken cable after that mod. Nice and smooth.

dont do it, pig of a thing to work on or get running well. Especially as its an old school 1000, an insult to the simplicity and ownership joy of a Tonti framed big block.
