Reminds me of that years-ago General Tire slogan, paraphrased to the present point: "Sooner or later, you'll own a Griso." :D

With my latest Guzzi, the little "I think I Can" Stornello, it's more like General's 2018 slogan: "Anywhere is Possible." :augie

Upon reflection, while I am in the slogan business, perhaps the most apt in your case is Nike's: "Just Do It!" :clap

And, just up the road in Toronto is a Tenni Griso with 2500 miles for sale. Bone stock! My wife would KILL me-we have 4 already.

So, your estate would then have five. :rofl

And, consider this -- though I have no particular experience in the distaff part :augie -- how much better for everyone for you to have five motorcycles and one wife ... than five wives and one motorcycle. :D

No need to thank me; it's just one more service I provide. OTOH, I am not licensed to practice law in N.Y., you understand, so this is simply advice from a friend. :smile6

That's funny! I've had a lust thing for that bike since it came out. One in college, one still to go (soon), well, I gotta suffer a bit. It'll happen, though.
Even if I just hang it from the rafters in my shop!

Thinking of turning my red 07 Griso to a “urban” commuter. It now has black ceramic coated pipes with a black ceramic coated Termi can. These bits would complete it.

It already sports the C-Bow Mount.

Today I installed a plate on the Hepco Becker rear rack so I can use my Givi E52 when traveling. I have 4 givi trunks and just didn't want to have to buy another trunk to use with the rack.

As far as I know, Givi doesn't offer a way to mount their trunk on my 2013.

I just bought a 2015 Griso yesterday, all stock except for a GT-Rx muffler and tuner, a Dart wind screen, and only 1,200 miles on it. I put about 200 miles on it last night and today, and I really like it so far. Good power and it sounds great!

I want to add one of those bikes to my stable. I have an Indian Springfield and have wanted to add something smaller and flickable, but also with character. Had been looking at Bonnie for a while then came a upon the V7iii and I couldn't get it out of my mind. Having a hard time deciding between the various flavors of that bike (SE, Stone, Milano, Rough...). Then I started worrying that the v7 engine will be too tame and started looking at used 1200 Sports and this Griso. Of course these are getting bigger and heavier and they may not differentiate themselves enough from my Springfield (which I absolutely love BTW, it is a keeper). I know I have to ride both of these, but I wonder if a 20 minute test drive is going to be enough. Had a Triumph Tiger 1050 that killed my wrist and neck. Which bike do you take when you want to have the most fun on the twisties?

@wcwilson You will be surprised at how nimble and flickable the Griso is, even with it longish wheelbase. When looking at Griso's they went from a flat tappet motor to a roller tappet mid 2012 but to be sure go with a 2013 or later. To find out all you need to know about the Griso go to www.grisoghetto.com

There are also the 2 valves motors, earlier the the flat tappet motor. I have one in my Breva 1200 and it’s tuned
With a Mistral muffler. It’s pretty damn fast

Duh, I hadn't thought about the 2v motor @tennmoto I was referring to the SE 8V conversion glad you brought that up

My lust for this bike has re-awakened. Not sure why exactly, but it's back.

I guess I'm on the hunt for (another) air-cooled twin, and this time with wire wheels and a single-sided swingarm. It seems to be a new(er) Griso or a BMW Urban GS.

The Griso tingles the fizzy bits; big, air-cooled motor, 17" wire wheels, weird and odd engine layout, Italian, and a damn handsome motorcycle. And it would fit in nicely with my other Piaggio bike and the other Italian beauties in my garage.

Granted, I'm in the most biased place possible :D ... but why would I not want this bike?

Tried to love her but my knees said no way. A lovely and unique machine that I still recommend to those in better shape than I.
