    WellI finally got my Corbin in today, here are a couple of pics. The leather is called Bomber Jacket and it is mostly black

    Thanks I appreciate that.

    I took her to Jennings GP for a track school this past weekend and had a blast. The weather was perfect

    The red welt looks nice with the Guzzi badge. I’ve heard the Corbin’s raise you up about 1” higher than the stock seat. Does that seem to ring true for you? I’m considering the same seat, but would like a little lift.

    I am going to say about 1/2". Just going by my flat footing the bike. It will break in some too. I had one on my Stelvio and like it. Now the Russell Daylong will raise you 1 to 1 1/2"

    Well, I went to the garage to actually measure the difference to the foot peg but I can't get the damn Corbin off the bike. It is like the metal piece on the seat is to big. I am too tired to mess with it now but it is something I will have to address soon, then I will get the measurement

    I am toying with the thought of a Corbin but I also like the tail bag v.s. a tail rack - choices, choices!

    I’d go with the Corbin and a tail bag. Thinking about doing the Corbin myself.

    You really do need to tell us more about the track day on the Griso.

    No video of the bike on the track so I guess that would be a no on hearing it

    The closest I can get is to listen to this video of a Griso with the same GPR exhaust I have without the db killer. Listen as he winds it up on the straight away

    The track day was set up by a member of the Concours Owners Group, this was the 2nd annual track class. I have been a member of COG for 18 years and have had 5 Connies over the years. Our motto is "Join for the bike and stay for the people" so we don't really care what you ride. Anyway I digress. This is a school, not a race so we would do 20 minutes in class then 20 minutes on the track trying to apply what was taught. There were 7 track sessions. The weather was in the 80's and sunny and perfect. I got passed by a lot of lighter faster bikes but that is a part of life LOL. I passed a few slower riders and it felt great :-) There were about 26 COG people and most on C14 connies, one C10. In all there were 120 riders and the sessions were for beginner (me), intermediate and the advanced riders so we were all riding the track at the same time. Some of the beginners needed to be in the intermediate class though. I will definitely do it again next year.

    @roostar

    OK, after some finaglling I finally got the Corbin off and fixed so it will come off now like it should.

    Anyway, from the left foot peg to the seating area the Corbin is about 3/4" higher than stock. I am sure that will go down some as I ride the bike.

    Thanks for checking on that. Comfort-wise was it worth the cost?

    Let me know if you need a waterproof cover for that lovely seat. Every Corbin I've had did the same thing. I needed to mess with the seat latch parts to get it to work right.

    I have not ridden with the seat yet, but the other two bikes I had a corbin like this on, was worth the money so I suspect this will be also
