According to Moto guzzi Australia they will be available mid 2019. Yamaha could take some pointers on lead in time from MG

I like it, guessing somewhere between $18k-$20k.
    Something different for touring.
Won't lose it in a crowd in a hurry either.

Have Moto Guzzi quoted a rear wheel travel for it yet.
I was interested in the V7s but wanted something more than the 93mm rear wheel travel for loaded touring and two up riding so I bought a VStrom.
I like the uncluttered look and shaft drive of this one and the V7s

    I hate upside down forks.
When they start leaking, they really go.

    Weight ?

    Perhaps you'd prefer a girder front end?:lol3
They haven't got a high bar to aim for with the porky weight of everything else around so if they can manage 230kg wet they are on a winner

Shame about the weight. In 1985 the factory knocked a couple of these out......162 kg dry weight.

I would love to attach a lightweight sidecar to one but making a subframe is going to be a problem, not impossible but would be nice to try.

Pity it wasn't a dual shock. Would make the job easier.

French scales actually. The French motorcycle press tested and weighed the bike and that's what they came up with....so I dunno ??
I've ridden the Wynns Baja version and didn't feel at all heavy to me.

Of the 6 or 7 Gootsies Ive had, heat has never been an issue.

And yes, I did ride them :-)
