Post your favorite and best photographs of the V85 tt, snippets from your road trips, discuss or ask questions about photography and gear, musings on motorcycling and life all welcomed.

To get things started... this weekend we took a late afternoon ride to Mt. Wilson above Los Angeles to beat the heat and watch the sunset.

The ride down the mountain, the cool mountain air, a freeway blast home. The V85 is an amazing bike greater than the sum of its parts.

Before I added the reflective stickers. I finished installing the controller for my Heated Jacket & glove combo on the weekend. I have a feeling I will need them both within a cpl weeks

Short version is I got stuck in a beaver dam. Posted a few of these before in the other thread I believe. This wasnt the whole dam, just where I got stuck.
But to my credit I did make it though the first time! But had to turn around du to higher water and second time the charm.
Had to get it out solo the hard way. All good though and it was a good day!

Particularly liked this one, the setting, the way it draws you in and creates questions.

Question/ observation I see you have the Mosko R80 bags. I couldn't get this to go with the bulbous rack of the V85. But on yours it looks like a good fit. How did you manage it? I have the first generation R80.

The last two photos don't feature the bike so much but I love them because they are taken deep into Mexico, farther than I thought I'd go.

Agreed, awesome places and travels are as much a part of this thread. The second photo looks like it could be Owens or Saline Valleys.

I'll never make a photographer in a million years but I do like to take the odd pic of my bike when I'm out and about. I've had the V85 about two months now and covered about 1,500 miles.
Here's a few pics I've taken along the way.

Great photos, I really like the juxtaposition of the bike with the statue of horse and rider in the background. It reminds me that motorcycles are the modern day iron horse, not just a means of transportation but a relationship between man and steed and freedom to explore.

That is awesome how you got the circular halo perfectly around the bike.

Can you tell me a little more about the setup for that shot? what kind of gear was used?
