Taking a break under the palo verde.
Beautiful weather this weekend here, so I made a nice trip yesterday.
Bit of Dutch TET again, took some hours off from work and went a bit into the sand.
We didn't had a lot of rain lately so it's starting to get dusty..
And as all know who own a Guzzi V85TT it's not a real light machine so a bit a rain on these backroads would be nice. Because if this sand becomes any deeper it's going to be more than a hand full to keep the bike upright.
A couple of free days, acceptable weather and a nice V85TT. Guess what I did today?
It was a nice ride, about 200 km on small roads with almost no traffic. I even thought about taking my camera with me. No selfies - that’s something for pretty girls with a new eyeliner... - but I think you’re more interested in pictures of the bike anyway.
It's such a lovely bike! It is by no means perfect, but I'm getting more and more attached to it.
A few water crossings. Found a field with old cars and tractors. I really like where the V85 is taking me.
Had the first decent ride for a long time. Went around parts of Durham and Northumberland. Took this pic at Rookhope Arch, it's the remains of a 2 mile long horizontal chimney used to take away fumes from the nearby lead smelting works.

The NJ MG Owners Group got together Sunday near Frenchtown, NJ. 3 of the 4 Guzzis were V85TTs all purchased at Hamlin Cycles in CT
Nice assortment of colors!
Quiet afternoon run around Mt Barney area in Queensland, Australia.
Three photos from last weekend, enjoying the dirt and twisty paved roads in southeast Ohio:
Very nice photography! I've added a couple to my screen saver folder. Especially like the composition of #2.
Who needs an optional centerstand, when there is a mud pit nearby?
Where's the vent on that final drive?
I'm going with "Where is the fuel filler?" for $200, Alex.
Just picked this baby up, giving this adventure thing a serious try. Let's see how long it takes until I drop it the first time ... =)
