All you need is the Junior 40 Bags! The side carriers are made to be universal with all Hepco & Becker luggage, so no adapter is needed.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Is this also true Hepco & Becker Krauser reproduction bags? I'm not sure what they're called - they look just like the Krausers that used to come on BMW's. I have a set I'm using on old Krauser racks. If I put Hepco racks on a different bike, could I use these bags?

Unfortunately, these new Krauser reproduction bag will not fit onto Hepco & Becker side carrier racks.

    Hello,

I am hoping that you might be able to help me with my issue mounting the Hepco Becker pannier rack on my 2013 Moto Guzzi Griso. Everything went together well except for the mystical "relocate the indicators" part. I can see where they are supposed to be mounted on the rear cross bar but I can't figure out how to get the wires to reach that much further away from the existing location. Are you supposed to extend the wires oneself or is there enough slack in the existing wiring loom? I did try removing the cover for the leads but could get it to budge once I had removed the seven bolts/screws attached to it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Regards,

    M

Sorry for the difficulties in your installation. While there are some models that Hepco & Becker provides extensions for the wiring, the Griso does not seem to be one of them. I would imagine that there should be enough slack in the wiring loom, as you suggested, otherwise an extension kit would have been included.

This being said, should the wiring loom not provide the necessary length needed, you may need to extend the wire yourself.

If you need any help please let me know, and let me know how it turns out!

Hey, I have a set of Hepco Becker engine guards for my 2004 BMW R1150GS ADV model. I had a high speed deer strike and bent them. They are tweaked beyond easy removal and use.

I would like to replace them but did not see them on your website. Please advise.

Are you the only place that sells Hepco Becker in the USA now ? What's the history of your company and Hepco Becker ? Thanks for your time and the ADV discount.

    Hi Wilson!

We are indeed the Hepco & Becker distributor in the USA now. We started off sharing distributorship rights with another company, to split off the east and west sales in the U.S., though it only worked out for a couple of years. It was decided that we were to move forward with the sole rights, and that was about 3 years ago, or so, if even that long. Since then, we've been steadily building a base here, to provide all motorcycle riders with yet another accessory alternative!

Anyways, sorry to hear about the deer strike, I hope you're OK and in one piece.

Which color engine guard did you have? We've got the black, silver, and chrome available for order, with the black one being in stock as of now. The other two colors would need to be re-ordered as we are currently sold out.
Regardless, here are the links for all three:

Hey, Thanks for the fast reply.

I had silver bars. I'm thinking of getting the bars powder coated RED !

Have you ever had anyone try that ? Would it be a problem on the metal ? Is there anyone out there who has tried this ? Any advice ?

Would it be to expensive to powder coat ? Ball park idea of $'s involved ?

Maybe just paint them ? I've already painted my bent ones , and like the idea.

I'm on the road right now. I will contact you in the spring to order a set. What is your lead time on delivery and price on those ?

    Thanks for your help. :freaky

No problem! Powder coating them shouldn't be a problem, though I'm unsure if they would strip the current layer of powder coating first, assuming you did take them to a specialist. They would charge in the ballpark of $50-100, depending on the guy. Since you were planning on changing the color anyways, you could go with the cheapest option, being black. That option goes for $316.40, compared to $30-40 more for the silver and chrome, respectively. If we have them in stock, they are generally shipped out same day, with a typical 3-5 day delivery anywhere in the continental U.S. and 6-10 days international.

I hope I answered your questions, but if anything else comes to mind feel free to ask.

    Thanks!

When I bought my top box from motomachines they keyed it the same as the side cases I bought from them six or seven months before, very happy with their service.
