I have no worries of the entertainment value of the racing. I watched every race they had last weekend.

My worry is not having the young guns there to show off to big teams. Who in Superbike honestly has a real shot at racing at the world level now? (On a good team!) Gerloff maybe?

You are right though, I hope the nasty track is fixed.

Hopefully the track has been rained on a bunch since the supposed smoothing took place.

Hoping for a winner other than Dovi or Marquez. Expect two Hondas on the podium.

Is five inches of rain last weekend enough? More this Saturday morning.

I'm wondering if there has been any commentary from the IndyCar crowd.

The hard truth is none of the big teams in MotoGP are looking at MotoAmerica for talent. Some Moto2 teams might be looking for rich Americans to write big checks but none of the factory teams will be looking in the MotoAmerica paddock. The fastest Young Gun in MotoAmerica is Sean Kelly and he has been racing the MotoGP Red Bull Rookies Cup for the last three years.

Marc will win. But, the drama will be wet Saturday where Lorenzo will blow is Q2 chance and end up back in the cheap seats.
In the race Jorge will run wide trying to run through traffic.
Rossi for 2nd after a real fight with Dovi.

If Bob Hannah was there I would drop by, Maldin can kiss my arse, he couldn't bring himself to Race at Heartland Park in Topeka during his last year in the AMA, he thought the track was too dangerous and threatened to punch Larry Pegram because he didnt agree. Pegram went out and won both races going away from the field that weekend, the Ducati he was on just worked there and he was unchallenged. I know Pegram didnt win much but he sure did that weekend. By the way Maldin already had the championship wrapped up and didn't even ride.

This paddock seems cramped since last year.

Yea because sooo many riders had horrific crashes that day, like no one. He was just getting cold feet because it was near the end of his last season and he already had wrapped up the championship, and he had a bad attitude according to everything I ever read. I was at that race and the track was fine, the promoter FIXED what Miladin said was the issue the night before the race and he still couldn’t ride. My guess is he knew Pegrams Ducati was going to make him look as bad as it did the rest of the field :lol3

So if I read this correctly, nothing to gain and everything to lose?
