I believe there's a front tire "overheat" warning, i.e., increased pressure. I wonder if there is an "underheat" warning...

    Perhaps there should be...

I would prefer if the warning came a bit earlier than that!!!

It seems the hard fronts REALLY act up when the bike behind is Marquee.
    I love coincidences.:jack

Pretty sure Jack and Pecco would choke to death before admitting they cracked under the pressure.

Actually when MM was talking to Simon he said he'd pretty much given up trying to catch Peco.

Edit: You're still a real prince amongst men I see.

Actually he said it was the same lap that he gave up trying to catch him that Pecco crashed. Ergo, when he went down Pecco didn't know that MM had backed off.

He was getting more of a gap on MM, he would've known that...and maybe backed off a tad himself, taking some heat out of that front tyre.

No, Jack is NOT the next Crutchlow from my viewpoint. Jack is a much better team mate.

Bothleading Ducatis seemed to lose the front under brakes before they were even tipped in. Very similar to the crashes a few years ago at Phillip Island late under falling temps.

Jack said he was worried about the hard front as the temp dropped when he was still on the grid. Pecco said that whatever MM did behind him he couldn't slow down, as flat out was the only way he could (almost) keep the tyres working.

I couldnt believe Rossi threw his helmet, cripes what if it ka-bonged some fan in the head?

The whole day was spectacular, the jets, the opera singer, the crowd going wild, all the races, the celebrations afterward.
Italy knows how to put on a show. Could hear the crowd roaring lots.
