That is a lucky fellow indeed. Watching Rossi toss that helmet into the crowd was such a cool moment to see. Priceless!

That fan would never have to pay for a drink in any bar in Italy. :lol3

Feel bad for Petrux. His last MotoGP in Italia and on his birthday to boot! Denied a final goodbye parade lap in Italy. Sad end to an abysmal season. He seems like a fine person and I’m sure it adds insult to injury.

He was going really good last year at times. Just never gelled with the bike at all in 2021.

I also saw there might be a link to racing with Ducati in MotoAmerica… that could be interesting.

You have never been to a track if you think that doesn't happen all of the time anyway.

Italy still has some passion and is not entirely ruled by lawyers. Yet.

That was the first time in a while that I watched the entire show from start to finish, and I'm glad I did. The lead-in to the race, the flyovers, the crowd....it was all spectacular. The only part that I wish had been different was Pecco's crash. He deserved better, though it was his choice to run the hard front. Lesson learned, and on to 2022.

Jack looked more saddened from Pecco's crash than his own.
No "Mapping 8" option needed on his dash.

I have no doubt that the tires will be exhaustively tested over the Winter and Ducati will have a huge say in any changes. Any more than any other factory? Nobody knows, but Gigi & Co. will spend a lot of time with the nice folks from Michelin.

So a Frenchman wins the world championship riding on tires made by a French company……that’s kind of cool.

…I bet i’m not the only one here that thought it was cool to see Black Mamba give Fabio a hug. Kinda nice to see the guy. Sort of forgot about him. Looks relaxed, like he might have put on a couple pounds.

These things bring out the best in people, especially when it's somebody like Fabio who seems to be universally liked in the paddock.

I didn't see any "disaster" from the crashers Jack and Pecco, they both appeared fine afterwards.
Maybe a headache from having Marquee cavorting inside their heads rent free.
When Jack was hugging Pecco, he likely told him "say it was the front tire, that's what I did".:webers

Marc has a long way to go before he is cavorting in anyone's head (notable exception being Mavrick), too many races have been run allowing Fabio/Pecco/Martin et al to gain confidence in themselves to fight anyone including Marc.
