Don't cross the border at Tapachula, go to La Mesilla, Guatemala. Mucho mas tranquilo. Where in Guatemala are you headed?

Hi Joe. Its good to hear that you are having a good time south of the border. I'm not sure if you are a Tequilla drinker but if you are, Try some 100 Anos while you are down there (means 100 years and pronounced 'See-En Ahn-Yohs'). I'm sure McD would agree with me that it is some of the smoothest tequilla around, unfortunately you can't get it in the U.S. (at least not in this area). 100 Anos makes Jose Quervo taste like battery acid. It wont keep you as warm as the Mexican ladies but it costs a lot less and wont talk back:evil .

I have a bottle thats just about empty at home, I am planning on bringing a couple more back this time. also, if you want good smooth tequilla in the states I like cazadores. muchas gracias por la translacion de español a eñgles.

Una botella para el pasear del invierno.

As it turns out I hit sleet in the mountains north of DF and lost some major time. So I checked out the capitol and damn is mexico city big! anyways I gotta rename this as joe goes to mexico and runs into snow and truly awesome mountain roads but fails to get into guatemala. I am heading to texas again to grap elektron and our 400 s to go to the copper canyon next week. BTW checked out EL Tajin, a whole bunch of cool ruins just outside of poza rica veracruz. Very cool got some pics for yall when I return.

I have 3 bottles of cazadores in the basement along with 1 bottle of 100 anos. A friend of mine brought back the 100 anos last time he visited his relatives down there.

What does "Una botella para el pasear del invierno" mean? My spanish is limited to Tequilla:D .

I'll be bringing a new bottle of 100 anos to the winter ride for all of you tequilla drinkers. I'm a whiskey drinker myself. :D

I am an equal opportunity drunkard and will gladly steal some of your magic mexican cactuswater.

I am really looking forward to this winter ride. No studs, I'll be riding straight tourances, which suck in mud, snow and ice ought to be something special.

I'll be in Canada ofr ski trip over the holidays so I'll get another of those full liter bottles of scotch.

second from the right, still in the box with complementary shot glasses. should be good on a cold winters day. I've got to get another tyrconnell for this ride as well since that one will be long gone by then.
