For you guys who know motojoe, he had a little run in with a van which made an illegal u-turn in front of him on his commute to the first day of school Monday on his KLR. I got a picture of him in the hospital for all you guys:

Bummer joe. Better than even chance that you're right handed. That's a plus.

I hope you heal quickly & completely.

Now take your drugs like a good patient. Morphine injections are pretty good, aren't they?

Well guys I have been meaning to reply to all of you. Thank you for the good wishes. I am home now and resting up. I am healing my broken right femur, it snapped in two a few inches above my knee. I have a titanium rod running the length of my femur with a few screws in it to keep it in place. They drilled down from my hip to the knee in the center of the bone to install the 13mm rod. I also broke my radius and ulna in my left forearm. That was casted and doesn't look to need surgery.

Because I was wearing an agv one piece leather suit with CE armor, tech 4 alpine stars mx boots, a full face snell approved hjc dirt helmet and road racing gloves, the other injuries were bruises and lots of general body pain but so far nothing else major internal or external. The jury is still out though as I am far from healed. I have some doctors saying walking with a cane in three months some say six. I am hoping to surprise everyone and heal faster and more completely than they expect. but lets face it the leg broke in half and folded in half.
now if I could just figure out how to use a wheelchair with one hand :D
