Wouldn’t that be cool... now they just have to get you on a bike for it!
Just got back from 2 months riding my bicycle on the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route, from Banff to Mexico. At some point during my ride, I decided that my next trip would be on a bike with a motor; specifically a dual sport. Somehow I stumbled across this thread after I decided that I wanted to use an xt250.
Anyways, I just spent the past few days reading this trip report, and my god was it incredible. You guys have inspired me to do an epic ride next summer, which I think will be from my driveway in Vancouver, up to Alaska, and then down to the tip of Patagonia. Awesome ride nonetheless, and you guys should be super proud of what you accomplished!
There is a chance!
Thank you very much mate!! Really appreciate it and love to hear that we've inspired people to ride! I'll be watching for your RR.
I rode from Seattle to Argentina on an XT250, it's a great bike for it!
Hey Polebridge, I'm doing the same trip leaving next June 1st, but starting from out East in Quebec going to Cape Spear, Nfld and then crossing West, North then turning South to the tip. Don't know when you're planning your trip, but might bump into you.
Son ustedes GRANDES!! Gracias por su valentía y por compartirla.
disfrutar viajando en moto, ir y venir...volver a ir..siempre en la moto por pistas infinitas....de eso se trata.
Gracias por su alegría.
