A very nice kit, neatly packaged, and works well. My old stripped-down pump is, like me, now retired.

I got my pump a long time ago, and only recently had to use it. I got a flat and it pumped up my tire very fast! That part I like. A couple observations - I have a DC port on my bike that has a 3 amp fuse (was put in for charging my phone) and the pump pops that fuse. Not a surprise really. For the pump to work so well it has to draw a good amount of current. Just pointing it out for anyone else's benefit.

Also, the wires on the alligator clips are really short. There is no way to clip it to my battery and then reach the valve stem. Am I missing something? Edit - duh, there is an SAE "extension cord" so that you only need one long wire that hooks into the other connectors (clips, ciggy, etc.)

I have the air shot inflator. I also just got it so haven't used it yet, however, the kit came with a 6' cord or so that is SAE to SAE so it's like an extension cord between alligator clips and the pump.

I think most air compressers are around 4 amps hence the alligator clips or need to install an upgraded outlet.even BMW Canbus will baulk if an air pump of any make is used on their connections.

I've used mine three times so far. The first time, I was leading a ride at a rally and a rider on a 1200 GSA got a flat in the pouring rain. We had him plugged and inflated quickly. Of course, I was the only one with a pump and we were in the woods. If I did not have this, the entire day would have been sidelined... unless we just left him out there. :D
