Vermont has some really beautiful roads and hiking trails. This trip included:
Riding the Smuggler’s Notch Pass (Highway 108)
Camping at Smuggler’s Notch State Park (Small, clean campground that offers lean to sites
    Visiting Stowe and Burlington
Hiking the Hellbrook Trail up Mount Mansfield, the highest mountain in Vermont (super technical hike)
Riding the Appalachian Gap (Highway 17)
    Enjoy the video.

Edit: I should add that my wife just got her motorcycle licence this spring and handled the ten hour trip to Vermont and ten hours back like a champ, on a 300cc bike no less.

Looks like a great ride! Haven’t been to VT since the early ‘90’s while at the Mtn Warfare School near Jericho. Gotta get back and like the idea of the lean to sites at Smugglers Notch. Thanks for sharing.

Perfect timing for posting this video . I'm leaving Sept 18th for Vermont to ride those routes. Hwy108 and Hwy17 'App Gap' are in the plan. Really looking forward to the ride.

Riding in my backyard. I live 6 miles from the center of Stowe village. We have some fantastic riding in Vermont!

That climbing looks like something that would make me actually cry like a baby, right before I soiled my pants.

Beautiful area to ride. It's one of our favourite places and we've been camping there since 1998.

That's a brutal climb but there's a less steep option on the Long Trail instead of the Hellbrook. We like the Hellbrook because there's no one else on it. Hardly anyone knows about it or where it starts.
