My latest creation from our road trip in Uruguay:
This could have ended MUCH worse
A couple more videos. One's motorcycle related the other truck.
I timed with video go go along with U2's "Beautiful Day"
Unfortunately U2 doesn't let anyone use their music...
Spent some time along the Northern California coast last weekend. Day one was an escape from the Central Valley through the Bay Area to Bodega Bay. From there it was a beautiful windy trip up Highway 1 through Fort Bragg and into the redwoods at Richardson Grove State Park. Richardson Grove is a special place for me, my mother took us camping there in the summers. We floated down the Eal River several miles to Benbow in blow-up inner-tubes and rafts. Even after 35 years, it was like nothing had changed.
Day two was about 45 minutes of backtracking to Usal Road, then north to Shelter Cove. This is a great road with very little traffic once you get past Usal Beach. After a very slow lunch, I continued north on Kings Ridge to Mattole Road. This is a great little section of road, leading to a nice section of twisty road before reaching Ferndale. I ended the day at Agate Beach camp ground in Patrick's Point State Park.
Day three didn't get any video, but Highway 299 between McKenleyville and Redding is a great ride. Highway 5 south to home, not so much... In all, my three day total was just over 900 miles.
A road full of slow curves in Gerona, Spain
shredding some local twisties. please sub if you're a fan
When adventures get a little out of hand and you decide to take a buddy and try and make a 50+ mile loop of gnarly single track in Idaho. It will kick your teeth in and burn your clutch! I failed at making to to two destinations on this ride and about halfway through the other rider was crying for a dirt road to go home on!
Here's a fun one from the Green Ridge dualsport ride on Oct 18, 2020. Hope you enjoy it.
Beautiful video of the Alps. Not my video, but Mimoto's. If you have never been to the Alps and you have the opportunity, just go.
I did most of these mountain passes and loved them all. Great drone footage of these roads in the vid.
