I took this at a recent event. This little fella rides in comfort.
Possibly more deadly than deer.
Harley rider: "I had to lay 'er down."
North side of Yellowstone National Park, less crowded. 2016 trip to Glacier National Park.
Never know if a cow, deer, donkey, armadillo or pig will meander across the road in Uruapan, Mexico
Fix that for you.
Due to their height and mass, (IMHO) there is no contest which is more deadly. When I was a freshman in college (a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away) a friend's mom hit a large sow (black in color) late at night on the predecessor to I-45 south of Dallas. Her fairly new Cadillac was totaled and she spent a month in a hospital.
Given their size and proximity to the ground, as well as often being much darker than any deer native to North America, feral hogs are nearly invisible at night. I fear them more than deer after dark in coastal Texas
Yellowstone, this morning.
Burma Road Bovine
I was scared to death. This dude was just walking a slow walk along the road, passing all the parked cars, until he saw me and my GSA. His eyes were saying "I wanna ride that GSA". He stopped, then turned his head towards me. The engine was turned off at the time. He just stood there, watching me put the camera back in the tank bag very slowly. I then was hoping the cars in front of me would start moving, and they did. I never started the bike up, but pulled the clutch and rolled it on the slight downhill. As I was moving I looked in the mirror, and he had turned all the way around, and was still glaring at me. Damn.......
From a ride this past weekend west of Unity, Oregon.
The elusive Blue Mountain Brown Reindeer. Unexpectedly jumped and ran right between us as we passed by. Whew, could thing we don't ride fast...or couldn't.
Couldn't get the bike in the picture, but thought this little "guy?" was cool. Taken in Snow Canyon State Park, UT.
CRAP!!!!! You OK?
oh yeah! salvaged my back protector and my socks. everything else was shot. slightly gimpy left foot,,,, another concussion.... about it, lol.
Wow. Be careful. You may have used up all your luck for a while! Glad you're OK!
I was riding Friday near Fall Creek Falls State park and came across this Ostrich in a fenced in area with a bunch of sheep and just when I was taking a picture a camel came up and looked and walked away before I could get his picture.
