That's a great idea, Mark. You have the perfect basecamp to stage such an adventure out of, and keeping it small will make for a more personable and richer experience. Hopefully you can do a few of these mini-rallies a year. That weekend I'll be down in Southeast Ohio for the annual Wailin' Wayne Weekend, so I cannot even consider, but maybe sometime in the future. Hope you guys have a great ride !
Great 3 days of riding with “Festus” and Tony! Great hosts, accommodations are clean and private. See you next year! John
Just one week till the Stelvio rally at MVMC. The weather is supposed to be near perfect, mid 70s and lows in the mid 50s. Great riding, camping, hanging out around the fire, telling lies, the usual stuff.
We are having a do-over on the Stelvio Rally at MVMC. We had a pretty good turnout for the rally earlier this month but not many Guzzis. The weekend of Oct 25th is "Seconda Parte", roll in on Thursday to be here for the Friday ride. We will also ride Saturday and of course it will be big bike friendly. We have a few Stelvio riders planning to attend and would like to have a few more, V85 TT and Quota riders are encouraged to attend also. Those that had schedule conflicts last time, here's another chance. The weather at this time of year is typically good here. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me a message. Hope to see you here next month, thanks so much.
Roughly three weeks till the Stelvio Rally. Looks like there will be at least three Stelvios, and an additional two that are a maybe. Hope to see a few more, V85 TTs and Quotas also welcome.
Hello all, we are having a camper appreciation day, November 9th from 12:00 to 4:00 PM. If you have stayed with us, or would like to stay with us, ride in. Call (828-528-1263) if you would like to reserve a bunk. We will provide grilled hot dogs and fixins, slaw, beans, chips, sodas, and dessert. Thanks so much for a great 2019!
It appears we have a mailing address discrepancy. Your Facebook page shows 401 Buck Mountain Road and pictures of your mailbox clearly show the numbers 401, but your address on this opening post states something entirely different (165 Mountain View Lane). What gives?
