Moving to Flagstaff (actually driving cross country now with bike in tow). Looking to get some work done on my 2005 KTM 950 Adv S. Only KTM shop I see in Flag is Go AZ Motorcycles. I recently adjusted the valves and now have a decent sounding tick. I rechecked my work and same results. Had to pack/move and gave up on it.
Thoughts on Go AZ Motorcycles or other options for good KTM service?

    Thanks,
    John

Come through Phoenix and get in contact with Dillon at Zen Moto. Has alot of experience with your bike.

Roadinator, welcome to Flagstaff. I have been here along time and would agree with Reidy and Big-E. I have heard great things about Dillon and Phoenix isn’t that far. Go AZ just purchased that dealership about a year ago. It was Northland Motorsports, which was a nice family owned shop years ago. I believe all the mechanics stayed on and they sell and service a lot of brands. I have never taken a bike their personally for work so I can not recommend them. If it’s mine and I need to spend money at a shop, I going to see the specialist. I might wait until September or October though when it cools down a little.

    Thanks for all the replies.
Landed in Flagstaff yesterday evening (Friday) to 77, rainy with heavy winds. An hour later it was sunny and 85 (Flagstaff friend said get use to it, this is pretty normal). On a side note, don't rent from uhaul. Another Flagstaff rider I know said the Flagstaff Go AZ service should be good to go and I contacted them. Completely backed up, but suggested GO AZ Scottsdale as they have a large service department. They can get me in and I am hauling the bike down to Scottsdale on Tuesday. Not sure how long I will be in Flag, as it is a short term rental for three months, so riding ASAP is my priority. If I had a garage, might tear back into it and try to figure it out. Right now, its unpacking and trying to get my head to stop spinning in the mornings. I've been at 0ft of altitude my whole life, so I have some adjusting to do. Look forward to riding in the area and exploring. I wish this place was cheaper to live...

A little late, but I take my stuff down to Moto City Anthem. I found Go AZ Flagstaff usually is booked a few months out. The drive down to Anthem is well worth the turn aro u nd time and you don't have to go through Phx.

    Just following up on this.
I started with GO AZ in Scottsdale because of timing. They said they could get the bike in ASAP and start work on it. A week later and nothing had been done. Dillon happened to be coming back from vacay and could fit me in. I pulled it from Go AZ and brought it to Zen Moto (still, no work had been done yet at Go AZ). Dillon worked his magic, and I have to say he was on it, knows his shit and the bike is dialed in. I would not hesitate to recommend him for work. Good guy, great mechanic.

Once you get into the woods just outside of the city limits, you will begin to see how people live in Flag on the cheap.

You should see him work on a Husaberg!! He has worked on my fe570 for the last 9 years, and he hates that bike!! haha, but he keeps it going and going... It is in his shop right now getting ready for a Colorado trip next week. Who else can you call broke down and he'll come get you! Or give you advise over the phone and help you step by step!
