    Cruised up to the "Ski Bowl "on Shasta, The road goes to about 7,000 ft, Ski area avalanched out many yrs ago in 1978. 013a.jpg

    Circumnavigated around the mtn on logging rds,about 75miles. A few yrs ago, a lake formed inside the "Mud Crk Glacier,which collapsed one August night and sent many tons of debris down Mud Crk,wiping out some Forest Service Rds. and bridges. This bridge was about 30ft above the old crk bed..Mother nature at work! 006a.jpg

    Love the Mt. Shasta area. Barely scratched the surface, but still fortunate to have camped there and explored a bit on 3 trips so far with another visit in 18. Great photos!
