Beautiful area to ride and looks like it's peaceful.

If you haven't you need to ride in the pumice on Whaleback!
Northern Kalifornia has lots of great riding off and on the road!!

MT.SHASTA,,with 50% H2O. 14000FTvolcano in the smoke since late June ! 3 huge devastating man caused fires south of us, Carr,Hirz,Delta fires burned over 1,000 homes in Redding, Several fires north along the Oregon border,contibuted to the smoke,, Burned thru hundreds of miles of amazing dual sport country,Glad I spent a lot of time exploring it all, Private timber will clear
cut every stick,while the Forest Service will let their timber rot oh well, Mt. Shasta is above my handlebars,,,really!

Finally smoke free!! Fires contained and a north wind cleaned us up..Wandered toward the north edge of the Delta fire in the distance just contained [email protected] 60,000 acres Trinty Lake in the upper far right
Rode into Tamarack Lake,special spot!, hung out enjoyed the clean air,,beautiful Fall day
Recent rain,snow ended the crazy fire and smoke devastation,Thousands of structures gone,including some in remote places I explore. Remains of Slate Mtn Lookout on the Trinity divde after the Delta Fire
Was a beautiful wood timber lookout,,retired ,not used for many yrs.
Lots of great H2O this winter wet season!! Many feet of snow at high elevations. Ski area finally having a good season. Got out on a couple of nice days for January,,,fun

Put in some trail maint. time. So many dead trees, they never fall AWAY from the trail

Howdy neighbor, just on the other side of the mountain from you in McCloud. Don't spend much time on here but did look at your entire post and have to say you have been to some of the same places as I but you take much better pictures. Thanks for posting.
