015a.jpg Not an ADV trip, still fun ,Local Off rd club put on an off rd race, "Bigfoot Blitz" at our ski area. 12 mile loops, perfect weather. Recent rains kept the dust away. Some rocky technical stuff and steep climbs up the ski runs made for exciting racing. The chairlift was running for good viewing at the top

007.JPG 005a.jpg 004a.jpg 001a.jpg [[ [ [Actually snowed 3 days last week, not enough for a drought cure,it all helps, Now dry and warm, did some "orange" social distancing on the north side of the mtn, lots of 2 track some single track tucked away out there. Usually rideable during the winter ,because it's in the Mtn's rain shadow , sandy and rocky. Rarely see anybody out here

I went to College of the Siskiyous in Weed back in the mid 80s and have been fortunate enough to live in some beautiful places in my life, but the area around Mt. Shasta is one of the most beautiful areas in our country. I love all the pictures in this thread.
