I lived there in the late 60's. I agree, one of the most beautiful areas around. So much to see and do....

Great pics @shasta650 and @waylongway! So nice to see the sun shining, mountains, and off-road tracks. @shasta650 - that shot of the waterfall is killer, what a great place to hike into and have it all to yourself.

I was just up in Yreka a few weeks ago. Between Happy Camp and Redding, I didn't think there was anything left to burn.

Tired of smoke n fire, rode around to the east side of the mtn to check out Mud crk,,,, Record heat caused a lake to form under the Mud Crk Glacier,, it collapsed and sent a raging flood down,,Mud crk,, Took out the F.S.rd that circles the mtn. Crazy mudflow and debris 20210703_125821 E.jpg 20210703_125705 D.jpg 20210703_125319 C.jpg

Great pictures. It's awesome to see some of that area on here. Waiting for a new bike to show up and then I want to make some trips back to the area. Grew up in dunsmuir and now in Southern Oregon so well within day or weekend riding trips!
