Here I thought it was the actual cc squared plus 40lbs plus = body weight. To be in that class.
Ready for Gunnison this weekend!!
Coming next weekend. http://mtwestvintagetrials.org/event/mwvta-2018-sipapu-rounds-9-10/?instance_id=338
Loaded up, headed to Sip in a couple of hours. Who's in?
The trialsmaster this weekend is an asshole. Just ask anyone.
Old Ty's still rule the roost. Worked on a Ty250 for an hour during the event. It made us all smile as he rode great.
Looks to me like a modern event with a few vintage bikes.
Still waiting gor my 10000 dollar donation credit to the New Mexico Montesa Museum Fondation.
Damn good lookin' boy getting ready to ride the Junior class!!
Your donation credit is currently being processed. Thank you for your patience...
You are absolutely correct here, bruddah. In fact, this point was brought up after the awards ceremony yesterday. Membership is down, and some long-time members brought their Modern mounts instead of their Vintage warhorses. The most common excuse I heard was that the ski hill was just too much for a drum-braked old bike, and their new bikes did the mountain better.
Well yeah. Of course they would.
Still no reason not to see your old iron in other events, or even at Sip for that matter.
This still a relatively new club, and is experiencing it's first ebb in membership. Some is because of the governing (hardly) body (just wait...), and some because of the natural outgoing of founding members. Don't get me wrong, without the Modern Support riders this club would be in trouble (and your participation is always MORE than welcome!! ) but it is a Vintage club to begin with and we would love to see more old warhorses brought out to compete once again. Don't be afraid to bring out the old iron (and tell your friends!!) and let them shine!
Vintage events are always a kick-in-the-ass good time. Dig up that old yard art and come ride with us!!
You forgot to mention the whole laid back attitude is even more laid back than NMTA. Which is way laid back than can we say our neighbors to the North.
With all the hype about the upcoming NATC National at Donner, the upcoming Mountain West Vintage event in Wyoming this weekend (running concurrent with the Mosteller Cup!) sorta got forgotten.
Rumor has it that 2 League members may tackle Mosteller while the rest are gonna be hero's in California. Maybe.
Mosteller Cup and a Vintage Trial at the same time. Who's in??
On mini bikes.
Yeah, on minis. Got a problem with that, Nancy??
Well you took that pretty good. The other Team will miss you two clowns.
Pff, no worries Bob. You know better!!
Ball bashing over. Who's in??
One Vintage weapon ready for Wyoming -
Anyone else going?
Not riding vintage, but I'm planning on showing up Friday evening. I'll be the lost looking guy with a Sherco sleeping in the back of a white Tacoma.
