So we left the. If city this morning to head to Evora via Sintra, two places in opposite directions! It was Julie’s first day in the Ike in a while and we had a shit ton too much stuff with us! I think not packing camping gear plus the recovery of the bike after its covid enforced holiday has meant we have a little too much with us! We found a Decathalon store and found a new 40 l dry bag, so I think we’ll look a bit less like refugees and be waterproof! Sintra is a very nice but touristy town. A couple of very good palaces and lots of stunning architecture. We the came cross country to Evora. Again a pretty walled town. I’m not sure the wife will be strong enough for photos as were in a beautiful old farmhouse tonight which is very lovely! The Palace at Sintra. The two big structures are the chimneys from the kitchen! Like a giant tagine! Quite a bus stop! Very cute! I loved the kitchen! Multiple small fires and cooking pots! Swim towards the light! The white light circle at the top of this picture is the chimney opening!
