    Thanks Sam...

No I don't have any of the Benchmark products, just the Butler Maps... you're right about their great coffee...

I can't wait either about AZ and UT... I'll probably go when it cools down in the fall and get a list of must see places like: Bryce, Zion, Mexican Hat, Valley of the Gods, Hogback, Rainbow Point, Grand Canyon, Horseshoe Bend, Marble Canyon, North Rim... lots to research between now and then...

Meanwhile I'll just be doing day trips and local trail riding...

When you do AZ & Utah, take lots of time if you can, cause there is so many great places. Now a lot of the good stuff is on dirt.

It was great following along through your words, pictures and videos. There is so much amazing stuff to see out west. That bad weather? I'm sure it sucked at the time but makes for great stories and memories. On top of that it probably made you feel better about being back home and comfortable.

So is your next long trip going to be southwest in the fall?

Thanks klav... I certainly had an adventure with the weather, which pushed me into other directions but at the same time it let me discover new things...

I'm planning a fall coddiwomple to Arizona and Utah... I'm in the middle of making my wish list of places to visit and crossing off the places I've seen... The timeframe will be dependent on the temperatures in Zion and Grand Canyon... hopefully late September when it cools down a bit... It will include more off-road and camping so I can reach those picturesque motography destinations...

It's a long shot with everything I have going on this year but if the stars align just right I may try to get out there this fall as well.

Yeah... I know you have a lot going on with your parent's move on your plate coming up... hopefully you get some longer rides in... don't forget... you still need to get some Ho-Made Pie and pie a la mode in Julian...

Great shots and video / slideshow! Thanks for sharing!

I do have one question, I have the (exact) same bike, so I'm wondering how you're putting in the miles with the stock seat?? :hmmmmm I can manage 200-250 miles, but by that point I'm not having nearly as much fun as the first 1/2 of my ride.

    Thanks...

As for the stock seat, remember I'm off the bike a lot taking photos and walking around to take in the sights... that doesn't include the breaks I take when filling up for gas and lunch... The time I do spend on the seat... I'm awestruck at all the landscapes that I come across and treat my seat time as motorcycle therapy... Sometimes I think I stop too much for photos...

I say don't change a thing! You taking take time for "motographs", and sharing them here are greatly appreciated, and enjoyed, especially for us "po folks" on the East coast like myself. Its perhaps the next best thing to being there.
