I am running a 205/50-17 Bridgestone run-flat. So far I 13,667 miles on it.
I’ve got the Michelin Commanders on mine. I don’t remember the size off hand, but I do remember it’s larger than the original rear. It’s running very well. No issues with speedometer or using the center stand.
A car tyre?
Done deal. So far Bugga all difference. Tyre bloke sourced a 205/45/17 Dunlop directional, fitted like a finger in a bum at a Gay speed dating night
Well done sir. The tire looks good on there and based upon my experience with a C/T on a bike, will serve you well. The CTX was one of the best looking bikes ever. I've never ridden one but they look awesome. Keep us posted on what you think of it with the C/T.
Yep a car tire and it corrected my speedometer error. Now it is within 1 mph of GPS.
Found a Corbin seat and backrest on the classifieds on the CTX forum. Whoa, what a difference!
The Corbin looks great! I enjoyed mine. The stock seat was one of the best stock seats I've ever had. I did several 600+ mile days with it. But the Corbin is awesome. Glad you got it. It is worth full price.
I had about 10,000 miles on the original seat. Was riding with a bead rider and a sheep’s skin on too of that. Ha. It was ok. The Corbin is a big improvement. I was actually looking for a backrest. The deal was too good to pass up.
