Where goes the oil reservoir, under seat with the battery?

Those forks look to be from a 690. A few years ago i tested a 450 forks and they apparently matched. However the LC8 frame steering column is longer than the 450 making a higher height from lower to top triple clamp. This cause the lower triple to be located a bit lower on the fork and at full compression the wheel would hit the lower triple clamp/fender with hazardous results.

Check your forks measures if you haven't done yet.

    What a weapon.
Can't wait to see how it turns out.
Love the exhaust, I was planning something similar for a project but might just buy a system of your guys.

    Thank you.
The fork, plates and wheel comes from a superenduro.

Here you can find the link to fb page for the exhaust system.

I started to work on the oil tank. It is slightly bigger than the stock one bit it weight a lot less. Also it is in a lower position.

A bloke with your fabricating skills should be looking at a centrally mounted oil tank to get the weight off the front end. Speaking of which - can anyone suggest to a non-fabricating bloke a OEM scavenging oil tank (Honda/Suzuki/KTM/BRP) that could be used in a 9X0 application?
    Cheers

    Nice work!

As a spoiled brat who owns a 990 Adv S and a Super Enduro, I always tell people I can't believe how DIFFERENT the two bikes are. I'm sure you'll notice the same thing with the transformation of your bike. Great fabrication skills too!

You're actually moving the mass of the oil tank further from the center of gravity, and further beneath the roll axis, which will probably have a negative impact on chassis performance. Take another look at Meoni's bike, there's good reasons why the oil tank is centrally located.

Large capacity tank (more than ADV cast alu tank) + 500ml cooler. Pour in your 4lt oil can and it's an easy oil change.
