There's different stories on the 4 corners. Indeed there was a surveying error years ago. But, the legal stuff has been changed to declare that the current monument is in the right place or that the monument is by definition the right place. Not sure how that effects the other borders and land owners.

    Here's a quick short story ..
While thinking about the on coming New Year ...
I had been up since 3 am.. and pondering about regrets or (regerts) LOL
And could really only think of one Huge one..
A few small ones ,not big enough to even ponder...

It's one of our regrets in life.. For NOT taking the famous race horse "Dr. Fager" Full brother "Highbinder"
He was 19 yrs old, we already owned 2 Stallions ,and we thought a 3rd would have been just too much.
With it only being the 2 of us and our breeding operation ,and back then only had 15 brood mares ,at the time.
My Gosh when they walked him in to the light, from his stall . WOW He was magnificent !
Almost black ripples with muscles , that he was quivering at the same time.. Just ready for anything.

Almost seemed like he snorted fire ! What a beast , stood 16.2 hands...
Drop dead gorgeous ! We both looked at each other , gave it a thought .. And said , just can't ..

Did I mention that he came out on 2 chain leads ,and 2 handlers..
Yeah he was that kind of horse... Yeah that was a Huge Regret !
Hell we could have made some good $$ in stud fees..
    Hindsight and all...

Here's a file photo .. It just doesn't do him justice

Hiya!! You're takin' care of business I imagine. For me, I'm cooking my tail off. Made a bruschetta tonight...roasted diced red peppers and for lunch, thick sliced carrots with olive oil, salt and pepper and the slightest drizzle of honey and a bit of hot pepper flakes on the carrots when done, served with a spiral cut ham.

Last night Apricot chicken with rice and roasted fresh green beans. Later this week I'm going to do the red peppers again but with diced sweet potato too. :)

TRACE!!! I'm COOOOOKIN!!!!!!!!! I need google and Hello Fresh recipes though. :) Love to you and HB. Sam is out running right now, I've been plenty active too, trying to take care of myself etc etc.

    Hugs...

I'm now 60 and I hate it. I felt light years younger in my fifties. If I'm going more than two blocks I take my walker. Thankfully I still ride.
