Trying out a latest generation led headlight bulb on my 6volt ES250/2 Trophy. Very pleased. Appears that they have beam focus acceptable now.

Better than the standard filament bulb which draws about 7 X the current.

It came from Classic Car LEDs in UK. Cursory internet search will get their site. This one came complete with p45t adaptor.
Be warned not cheap and the last I looked they were out of stock. May restock soon however.

But in my opinion is worth every dime that you have to give for it

really really takes a load off that little generator and the light is very good.

^^^^ I'm sure you're aware of the rules when stray MZs come calling - keep it and fix it?

I took mine to see La Manche today.

consider yourself lucky - i've got 1 of these left.

(it's a bertold brecht thing, btw ... and the connection (for me) ist the bike scene in the1932 film 'kuhle wampe - or: who owns the world'/'Whither Germany?'.)

I’m so happy to be here. I just rolled a very nice 1968 175 /2 ES Trophy into the shop, yeah the red one.... it is in very good condition and I will post pics tomorrow. I have no documentation other than the old DDR registration and title, so it’s a mystery to me. I will run a 33 to 1 pre mix as that seams universal for the time period.

What should I use for gearbox oil? ATF or 85/90?
