I'm a slow read... But it sounds like your saying you found a XR400 for less $ than one of them Sukkki bikes? Can this be what you saying? :-)

Ha! Yep, the zukes were not to be found for realistic money. I own the XR, the Kawi and 2 Yamaha cruisers, never a zuke. I do have yellow wolfman bags on it, I'm no snob.....

You can find a cheap Sukkki for less than an XR but to farkled it "almost" to the fullest, that is the question. In my experience it's worth it. It almost cost me as a brand new orange bike :lol3, Oops I said too much:fpalm...

Both bikes are over-priced in the used market in my opinion. A testimony to how well liked they are considering their age. I paid too much for my DRZE but I can probably still get a good price when I sell it.

You've built a very nice bike. I'd be proud to own it.

Well if I didn't have a bike and was looking, maybe $2900 depending on year and model.

Of course I'd have to see how bad it was bent from those crashes too.

It was one crash (back in 2017) and honestly nothing happened to the bike that day but couple of scratches on the handguards and rear plastic cover. If i did have the Enduro/toolbox made by then it possibly would have protected my leg or sustained the first impact :dunno...

I've wondered how that tool box would hold up in a crash or rock impact. Apparently it is handling it well. Well done.

I didn't account for the large tank and seat concepts seat. That bike would probably go for over $3,000

Scott Steering Stabilizer by itself is over $500 (with mount). I have Yoshi exhaust system & the 440 kit. There's too much to list anyway.

It was a pretty dumb comment I made about the price without knowing what you have . I was just going by what I see them selling for without a lot of upgrades. You really have maxed that bike out. :super

Why paint it when you can do it with a few stickers? The sheep will never know!

When i buy an Iridium plug for $10.99 I feel rip off :lol3, thank God it's a single cylinder. With all that talk i still feel tempted to get a 690 Rally Raid EVO2. :evil
