I completely agree. The used DS market here in Phoenix is crazy, but I think that may be due to the price of / and perceived failings of new bikes. New DRZ is $7k+ OTD, $3k used and farkled looks like a deal. CRF450L over $10k??? I've owned this XR for a year, pretty sure I could get most of the $ back today. Basically ride free-ish.

Works for me, tons of fun.....

Just a suggestion here to try to save time. To AZ TOM & jtwest, first day we'll have couple of break. One in Williams for gas & snacks, second one in Tusayan. Maybe one by the entrance of RR tacks. Second day the same, couple of breaks in Cameron. Third day first break in Flag second one in Clints Wells station. But of course that's not a must. We can always make a pit stop whenever a rider needs it. Safe riding to all.

Any suggestions on shipping a bike from Virginia to Arizona. I have Uship auction up, I have quotes from the usuals (Federal, HaulBikes, etc)....just looking to see if anyone has any specific carriers they have used and had good luck with and are reasonable. Haulbikes is reasonable but they have huge time windows you have to work with. Just looking for any input.

    Thanks.

Try Swift Transport, that's the guy who pick up my KTM 950 when i sold it last summer. His name is Roger, his # is 678-5754841. I believe he charges between $400 to $500 pick up/delivery anywhere cross country.

I have used Uship a few times but maybe a plane ticket for some one to go have a nice cross country ride would be better... :D

For the first 500 or so miles.....then you will want to be done. I rode from north of Denver back to Flagstaff on a S4RS....nearly killed me....but as you know....I'm a bit taller than you Drew. My knees begged for the mercy that only death would provide.
