She stated that she is done on two wheels when the crash first happened so we have already sold the bike. She has already stated that she is wanting to try a quad and see how that goes. She has ridden them some before we met and we have been to the dunes on quads a couple of times. She is wondering how she will feel about riding at all but we are really wanting the grand kids to grow up riding so I am really hoping she will be OK with the four wheeler. If she is it will change my riding totally and I will probably get rid of the 2 stroke for a bigger 4 stroke since we wont be riding single track.

Ah, makes sense, riding is a funny thing, your heart has to be immersed in it wholly or else. Maybe she wanted to do the 4-wheel deal for a while and this just served to help make that happen... I think it'll be fun to follow her around on your new 4-stroke (and you get a new bike out of this deal??!!:) while she takes a grand kid or two on board her quad.

Oh I want the grandkids to ride their own quads and bikes! She loves riding on the back of the BMW and wanted to learn how to ride bikes but it was mostly my doing so that we would have a new hobby to do together and because I wanted to get back out in the dirt. She probably would have been more comfortable on a quad this whole time so that just makes me feel even worse about her break. With her on a quad that gives me more of an excuse to go to the dunes :) Her little 230 never would have made it out there.

At least the rat outed themselves. Good to know so I can add them to the block list.

Sorry about your ride. If I convert my bike to chain drive I will have to come out and play in the easy stuff.

    Following up on this topic.
Does anybody else have problems with too much, too long ear hair which feels like an insect and causing a distracting tickling in the ear when trail riding?

Looking back at all of this, I realize that I am not an admin here and some of what I said should've been left to those making the big bux. My apologies to anyone I may have offended along the way.
