On our way to Cederberg Oasis
We arrive at Cederberg Oasis and check into our humble accommodation for the evening. Meet up with the rest of the guys and enjoy a great night with good food, beers and great company
It rained on and off during the night and by the time we had to get up, I felt like I hadn’t slept at all. We each got 5l of fuel from management to be sure we can make next fuel stop

This is where the actual trip start. 7 bikes, 5 days, 1800km
Nice write up!!!
I'll be in SA in a couple weeks. Hoping to find a place to rent a bike for a couple days.
Big cities all have bike rental companies
Where are you going to be based?
We head towards Eselbank on some lovely gravel roads with some stretches of sand in between. Just enough to keep us awake.
Even time for a nap
Riding into Wuppertal
Lovely routes Prince Albert is a good kick-off did a lot of these routes in 2015 with Kleinmond as my hub, unfortunately, 2nd day I arrived I had some droewors and cracked a molar which after the first week lead to severe toothache. I spent the remaining 5 weeks going from riding these gems and back to KLeinmond to visit the local dentist, cutting a more ambitious route into fits of starts and stops. I am fortunate to have a bike stashed locally with family.
And then on to Heuningvlei and Pakhuis Pass
