I need to know the name of this style of BMW jacket. Help me please!
Dude that is one ugly jacket, but hold on to it, the seventies are coming back!!!
It's a BMW 'Marrakesh' jacket, available from about 1993 to 1995/6. I've got two of them!!
It's got a GoreTex zip out liner, shoulder & elbow protectors & it's current equivalent is the 'Savannah' range.
What else would you like to know............?
Steve-Does this mean that I can count you out of the running for the person to buy this jacket?
This jacket couldn't be any uglier than the paint job you're looking at applying to the F650!
Dutchman, thanks for the heads-up! The only other thing you could help with is if you want to buy it. I will be listing it now that I know the model name.
Size 46R, slight scuffing around cuffs, otherwise in good shape. Includes liner.
...........ha, ha, ha.........with no less than nine motorcycle jackets in this household, including two of the above.....I've no need.....but I'm sure you'll get a result here!!
Somewbody with some taste here will buy it! The 650 is staying the color it is. The K12 is going to white with the checkerboard decal on it!!
Yes I am out of the running, 4 jackets now is enoug for one person.
speaking of weird jackets, I tried on a Joe Rocket mesh thing today. Man, I dunno. It seems like that shit would melt on your skin if you slid on your belly. Out.
Are you talking about the new Savanna 2 or the original? If you have the Savanna 2, what do you think about it as a summer riding jacket?

the 'stitch IS stiff when new, but the secret we have found is to (take the pads out and) wash it three times (don't use much soap, and that only first time).... turned my wife's new hi-viz coffin into a comfy flexible riding suit immediately...
I just got two savana's 2 they are great, i also had to return my wife's aero she shaid it was just to unconfi, the vents on the savana are good but it's not a jacket for 95 up temp for the savana pants are way to hot says my wife i'm using the aeroflow pants with the savana jacket.Just did a trip to canada in that combination and i really like it, all the pockets are great .
But can you say expensive!
Moving this thing to the Equipment forum where it belongs...
I remember seeing Mork wear one of those.
