It's a BMW 'Marrakesh' jacket, available from about 1993 to 1995/6. I've got two of them!!

It's got a GoreTex zip out liner, shoulder & elbow protectors & it's current equivalent is the 'Savannah' range.

What else would you like to know............?:evil

Steve-Does this mean that I can count you out of the running for the person to buy this jacket?

This jacket couldn't be any uglier than the paint job you're looking at applying to the F650!

Dutchman, thanks for the heads-up! The only other thing you could help with is if you want to buy it. I will be listing it now that I know the model name.

Size 46R, slight scuffing around cuffs, otherwise in good shape. Includes liner.

    $150.00

speaking of weird jackets, I tried on a Joe Rocket mesh thing today. Man, I dunno. It seems like that shit would melt on your skin if you slid on your belly. Out.

Are you talking about the new Savanna 2 or the original? If you have the Savanna 2, what do you think about it as a summer riding jacket?

    Mike,

the 'stitch IS stiff when new, but the secret we have found is to (take the pads out and) wash it three times (don't use much soap, and that only first time).... turned my wife's new hi-viz coffin into a comfy flexible riding suit immediately...
