Heading south to the Shelter Bay ferry (probably after having gone north through Trout Lake)?

I know the spot you're thinking of, and it is a very similar view, but no. Wrong body of water....

It was a pretty quiet "gang" living at the end of this road when I went through two years ago! :lol3

Coming down the hill on 31A towards New Denver?

    :dunno

It's either Slocan, Upper or Lower Arrow Lake. We'll get this eventually through the process of elimination.

    :lol3

I would have thought the ruts in the lanes from all the chip truck would have been deeper.

The only West Kootenay lake approach we haven't covered is 6 into Nakusp.

You guys have been in the right neighbourhood for awhile now. It's actually 6 heading down the hill from the Cape Horn rest area. It's the nice curvy hill that leads into Silverton from the south. The Cape Horn stop gives a great view of the Valhallas across Slocan Lake, and has always been one of my favourite places to stop.

    This looks sooooo familiar.:hmmmmm
I tend to blitz the back roads when I'm on them, so I don't always remember which ones I've been on. I usually have to look at a map after I get home.
