    OK, looks mass produced yet somehow clunky. DOHC. Definitely Euro, not US, definitely not British.

    That dry clutch had me stumped, but was looking at the pic thinking it would have to me mounted longitudinally, or else why offset the clutch?

    Hrrmm.. it is not a car engine... Look at the small bottle of threadlocker.. Even an Alfa-sud engine is huge compared to this thing..
    With the off-set clutch, and with the twin cam per bank it is a performance engine.. Not sure if it is mass produced though...
