I have to say it, even though those in NC will want me burned at the stake. I'm tired of Jr. I thought he would be good and his first race was excellent, but now. Someone has coached him up on pretending excitement & shrieking like a little girl every time 2 cars get within six feet of each other. Yesterday was bad but The Glen was just awful. All. Damned. Day.

Give him time....he is the emporor. With about the same creds as Danica, although he did win a few races.

One of those pasty guys is retiring, I hear. The world needs more insurance salesmen.

Hell yeah! I really dig it. Would love to see them do that at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

I'm thinking they need to run the Rolex course for the July race at Daytona.....

boy, dead since October. I guess nobody (including me ) cared that Joey Logano won the cup.
The only thing I really like about him are the loopy donuts he does after a win.

Watched the kid at thompson when he was still in short pants. He was a phenom even then....good on him.

His Mom had to drive him to Gibbs to sign his first contract as he was not old enough to have a drivers license.

some changes afoot, there should be some interest in January as the daytona roster solidifies.

It has really fallen off my radar, I didn't even realize the season was over or who won it.

When they got away from the short tracks in general and tried to run a bunch of 1.5 mile tracks instead is when my interest started to wane. Also when they started building mega teams it generally took out the little guys from ever winning again.

So Truex lost his ride? Or just the main sponsor? I haven't kept up since Joey won. I was pullin' for ol' Harv, but I like Logano. He's got grit.

Furniture Row closed their shop. Sad that you can be successful in the sport and still not make it. Can't say it was Kulwicki success, as they used others equipment. Alan was a genius with a dream.

In a way Furniture Row reached the top, maybe that’s all he wanted was one cup and done.
It probably wasn’t any easier finding money even with a championship.

They are out of the Nascar race business. Still a vibrant furniture company: https://www.furniturerow.com/fr/

Thanks. This is the Nascar thread, not the furniture business thread.
