Figured I start a NBA thread since the others I saw here were year specific

    Anyway...

Watching the Nets & Bulls now & the Bulls uniforms look like Syracuse Orangemen - WTF? - Maybe they're warming up for the Lap of Manhattan in their HiViz orange :rofl

The leader of the most righteous will have to get a new uniform

I'm a Sixer fan. Its not fun when a team tries to lose. Hopefully all the draft picks pan out. :lol3

Mitch Kupchak is no Jerry West. I liked him as a Bullet, but as GM he has presided over the steady decline of the Lakers.

Yeah, Mitch has struggled a bit with the GM position. Seems like none of his moves pan out for some reason. Hell of a player though, when he was healthy. The Lakers are on virgin ground right now. They are so used to buying and signing the best players in the league and competing every year, that they don't know how to handle rebuilding from scratch like everybody else.

The Clippers scored 142 on them the other night. I had to clean my ears to make sure I heard that right. :lol3

They lost by 48. Worst loss in Laker history and that's not a short history either.

This postseason is the first time the Lakers, Celtics, and Knicks are all out.

    Crazy year for basketball.

    Speaking of the Clippers...

They're gonna suck if the NBA makes Sterling stand by his words.

How can you own a Nba team and be that racist? I would think if you had enough money to own a team, you would have enough intelligence to not be that narrow minded. It is odd, but apparently has been going on for a long time.

    From an article I read.

Former Clippers point guard Baron Davis, who had well-chronicled battles with Sterling during his time there, wrote on his Twitter account, also presumably about Sterling, "That's the way it is ... He is honest about what he believes in..Been going on for a long time, Hats off 2 the Team.. 4 playin above it all."

    It boggles my mind.

Why would you want to own a NBA team if you're racist? I don't get it.

Intrigue. Sterling isn't admitting having said it.

Seems unlikely that his squeeze would have sufficient access to his financial assets to be able to embezzle anything. And he's been busted for discrimination before, in real estate. Plus he's still bangin' this chick, AFAIK. Seems like an ill-thought-out denial, IMO.

Sterling is in a load of shit. Everyone from the NBA commissioner to Barack Obama has commented on this. There is not going to be a cave deep enough to hide him from this.

The Hawks are blowing Indy out in their own building right now. Up 25 with 2 minutes left in the second quarter.
