Let me know what I can bring. Food, beer, booze, firewood?

I'm happy to keep track and make corrections/updates as people send me PM's about their intentions.

    That is awsome Jake, Thanks.

If we can get two or three to bring a BBQ we should be OK.

You should as it should be pretty crazy

Yes to all.:D You could volonteer to do breakfast or just bring the mixin's, eggs, cheese, sausage, potatoes, onions, salsa and we could do omlettes or just camp breakfast where we throw it all together and chow down. It's pretty easy.

O.K. I'll bring stuff for breakfast on Friday and Saturday morning. I need some idea on how much stuff to bring (i.e. 5 dozen eggs?) and we can all pitch in on the preparation.

Awesome Roadmeister! But I think you should consider bringing stuff for Saturday and Sunday mornings... I am not sure many people will be there Friday Moning... I'll throw $10.00 at ya and let ya eat for free on Saturday night...

I will bring everything needed to make food for 25 on Saturday night. $10.00 per person should cover it for the meal... I figure we can do a donation jar sort of thing, one dinner, and one for Breakfast. then people can take it upion themselves to contribute. I have found this to work the best in the past.

I will also bring a two burner propane camp stove, not sure if we will need it, but I am sure that it will not hurt... Also, it sounds like we have a couple of stoves, but I do not yet see a grill that will handle burgers for 25... anybody got one or two?

Your Saturday plan sounds good to me, Jake!

Regarding Friday morning, there's 13 people signed up for the clinic that day, so I'm guessing at least some of them would like something to eat.:dunno Maybe they can chime in or PM me if they want to be included in Roadmeister's plan for that morning.

We will have access to a 4 burner stove inside the kitchen area of the 'garage'. There is also fridge inside. I think a couple of people said they are bringing a grill. The more grills the better.

Thanks Jake and Roadmeister for stepping up to the task.

Will people be showing up Thursday night and be there on Friday morning for breakfast?

I just assumed that people would not show up until Friday morning...

As soon as I say I'm free to do something to help, work starts to rear it's ugly head. If a job gets in the way of a Friday ride down for me (I freelance), at the very least I'm still down for getting there Sat. afternoon and staying thru Sunday for a non-clinic ride, if there is one.

I'm happy to contribute $'s to the kitty for food/beer/camping.

Did the exploritory ride today with surfphoto and motomike. I think we found a perfect place for the DS Clinic. If any of you have seen the Crusty Demens tapes it is in that area where the guys are doing incredible jumps. No we aren't going to make you guys jump your GS, it is a wide open area of hard pack with enough technical sections that it will challenge you. Unfortunately none of us had a camera to get photos. So we will surprise you. But don't worry, the 30 degree step ups are easier then they look.:lol3

Indeed, awesome place to ride with all kinds of terrain, Plus a solid wide open area to learn and practice all the neat little secrets and techniques that Ned will pass along to you!

After Ned is done with you, I will, for anybody who wants, demonstrate how to crash at both high and low speeds into moving and statonary objects. Later will be show and tell of scars and protruding bones!
Plus I will show you the fine art of Silt tasting and let you taste all the subtle nuances of silt from the various desert regions of the west.

I am looking forward to meeting all of you, and if there is anything we can do to make your experience a better one, please advise us!

Les reminded me to post about when we'd be starting.

My vote is that everyone aims to be there and organized at 8:30, and we are rolling at 9 sharp. I hope this isn't too early for those coming in from distant points, but given how many folks are spending the night up there, hopefully, it's a reasonable compromise for all.

Typically, the class will run until something like 4ish. It will be possible to drop off sooner than that for anyone with schedule conflicts or who is tired, and if anyone is still raring to go and there are things we'd still like to work on, we can ride beyond that...
