quite the contrary... we are IN SEASON! Lot's of weenies...eh hem...people ride only in the cooler months. Me? haven't taken more than 2 or 3 weeks off all year...110 was probably the hottest day for me...

I tried on the crossfires today after work, HOLY SH!T those are more comfortable than my well broke in street boots right out of the box! walked around the store for a minute and was sold. I just can't wear the white ones tho, so the black ones are on the way just in time thursday :deal

by the way, at marina del rey honda / ktm there is a new 525exc with blinkers and lights ready for a plate just waiting for someone with a fatter wallet than I.

jump on it, it'll be gone in hours!

They must have just gotten that 525 because I was there on friday last week and they said they wouldn't be getting any till next year (sales guy tried to sell me a KLR, :augie) After he trash talked the DRZ. How much, if you don't mind, did you pay for the Crossfires?

apparent 4 arrived saturday night and this is the last one!

he quoted something like 8200 something, my ears shut off there.

I just stood there salivating, but hey I got some phat boots on the way.

$433.00 out the door with tax talk to Ozzie in parts:deal
no real deal there, but good boots sell themselves. I wanted to have them from a local dealer if I could anyways.

That's not that bad. I like the look of the Sidi Discovery but I'm nervous that'd they wouldn't be rigid enough for any real offroading.

Do we still have guys on standby for the Sat.(DS) class? I may give my spot up so someone else can benefit.

I've been getting a few requests for directions, so here's a bump for that info:

    Camping Area is at
    33 09 04.95N
    116 10 40.35 W

It is the second mailbox down from Desert Ironwoods. We will try and have some type of sign up to make it easy. Also look for the flagpole.

A Google Earth shot of the camping areas:

Actually Zen it is two mailboxes down. They put a new one up between us. The entrace has two mailboxes together, it is just after the cargo containers.

Does anybody have an industrial-sized coffee maker they can bring?:ear

If not it's no biggie, but the coffee addicts will need to provide their own or make a daily trip over to Desert Ironwoods to get their fix.
